CRYSTAL BOARD MILLS (PVT.) LTD.

The company was incorporated on December 20, 2003 as a private limited company under the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Companies Act, 1992 (Adaptation of Companies Ordinance, 1984 of Pakistan). The principal activity of the company is manufacturing and sale of Medium Density Fiber Board (MDFB), Chip Board, Universal Board / Paper, Veneering Flax Paper and related material. The project is located at Plot # T-33-II, Industrial Area, Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

The project envisages the setting up of a new unit for manufacturing of superior quality of MDFB (Medium Density Fiber Board) based on latest china technology. MDFB like chipboard is suitable in construction and quality furniture at process fair resistance to moist climate good strength, good screw and nail handling quality and fiber retarding properties. A survey has revealed that a superior quality fiberboard has a ready market in furniture industry as panel material for well paneling and partitioning as care stock for doors, window, shutters for making shelves frames, kitchen cabinets and cupboards. Because of low manufacturing material may be utilized as packing material for which it will not face any competition for chipboard. Based on 330 working days a year a operating 3 shift, a day the plant will have rated capacity 637,200 sheets of 8 x 4 x 19 mm to produce on MDFB in different categories of sizes and various thickness. The demand of MDFB is increasing constantly mainly due to two factors with the increase in population and rise in the standard of living. Due to rational habits of the people, retain their preference for wood/chip board over MDFB through the advantage of MDFB. The management have well established marketing channel through out the country and no difficulties are anticipated in selling MDFB products.
